EPP 5.0 - Developing Makan Bazaars

The Makan Bazaar, developed through this EPP, aims to create a hygienic one-stop food centre for diners to sample the best of Malaysian food. It also aspires to set a higher standard for professional restaurant management, with a long-term goal of raising the quality of their offerings.

This EPP invites the private sector to help build a total of 10 Makan Bazaars across Malaysia by 2020.


  • Developed by Brunsfield International, the Oasis Square Makan Bazaar experienced tremendous organic growth in 2014 and currently comprises more than 300,000 sq ft of F&B space (in addition to the dedicated space of 97,996 sq ft) ranging from well-known local cuisine to international cuisine.
