EPP 5.0 - Developing an Eco-Nature Integrated Resort

The Government is currently working with Karambunai Corporation Bhd (KCB) various private sector developers which plans plan to develop an integrated eco-nature resorts city in Karambunai, Sabah Malaysia to meet strong market demands for such facilities.

Highlights

  • Facilitated by MoTAC, the Melaka Gateway project by KAJ Sdn Bhd, which aims to create a tourism island with its Malaysia Eye attraction, is targeted for launch in 2015. In 2014, the project confirmed joint venture partners Prometheus Marine Pte Ltd for the development of the Melaka Marina and Royal Caribbean International for the construction and operation of an international cruise terminal.
  • The Two in Rawang by DA Land Sdn Bhd is a new integrated development which includes a planned high-capacity concert arena, targeted to cater to the Klang Valley’s growing need for venues capable of hosting large-scale international events. This development will be completed in phases from 2017 to 2019.
