As part of Malaysia’s efforts to diversify its electricity fuel mix, the country has put in place a framework that ensures technical, safety and environmental foundation is available should nuclear power becomes essential to spur economic growth.


Formed in 2011, the Malaysia Nuclear Power Corporation will continue to focus on critical enablers identified under ETP, which includes public acceptance of nuclear power and the readiness of the correct regulatory framework in in Malaysia.
