This EPP focuses on developing ready-to-implement nanotechnology projects under the Nanotechnology Roadmap developed by Nano Malaysia Bhd.

Highlights

  • The development and rollout of thermal management technology for LED applications reached 75% in December 2014.
  • Nano Malaysia has identified the LED sector as the first entry point for copper-carbon nanotube heat sink technology, and in 2014 signed a technology licence agreement with Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS as well as a collaboration agreement with Hans System Design Sdn Bhd to develop and roll out the technology in LED applications.
  • Agensi Inovasi Malaysia completed a study on graphene in May 2014 which included its applications in the E&E industry.
